EEE Touch

I’ve always wanted a touchscreen tablet. At the time of buying my NC10 these did exist but where way of of my price league. Besides, the interfaces are still very much evolving although to be fair we are starting to see these mature. The NC10 is a great piece of kit and it is hard to see anything displace it. Why would I need to upgrade if it already has the required power and functionality?!

However, there is one thing that would get my attention, and that’s an affordable touch screen machine:

Look for an EEE? Check out the netbook shop! UK or USA

Of course the Samsung version will be better ;)! If not a year late!

Nice video. It’s answered some of my questions regarding handwritten input, although it still seems to be less than tablet pc capability.

Interesting that there was no indication that the screen could be rotated into a portrait mode.

Still it looks promising. Can’t wait to see what the final product will provide.

Even though this in a way is better than the NC10, I’m still getting a NC10. (call me a fanboy!) :P

You can replace your existing touch screen on your NC10 to be a touch screen, sorry i cannot post a link to the site but if you have a look at ultimate-netbook you will see a samsung nc10 touch screen.

Im really not sure why they dont factory fit them to all netbooks tbh, its a great feature.
