The first Samsung NC20 Review – from Ukraine!

in Samsung NC20

Check out the first tests of an NC20 – at least that I’ve seen. The Ukranian site gagadget has managed to get hold of one, even though NC10s are not available in the shops over in Ukraine!

It is much like we all expected and had gathered from the published manual.

  • Windows XP
  • 1Gb Ram
  • Nano CPU
  • Integrated graphics, VIA Chrome9 HC3 DX9 3D
  • The usual connectivity

Battery Life

They have posted up some good battery life tests, which is something that many wanted to know more about. The longest they got it to run for was over 6hrs with the most energy efficient settings. With more intense use they managed to get it to run down in 3hrs! I think this is encouraging news and sounds similar to the NC10 in some ways.

The reviewer concludes that it is another good all rounder from Samsung. Like the NC10, there is nothing outstanding here, but the overall package is good. Surely the Samsung NC20 will be a good option for those looking for a slightly bigger netbook. Personally I am not worried about how these devices are classified, some people will simply prefer an extra two inches and why shouldn’t they!
