Forum member TiwiPewo recently upgraded his NF310’s hard disk.

We take a look at what he did.

Upgrading the NF310 Hard drive

The NF310 netbook normally comes with a 250gb drive tucked away inside the chassis. To be honest this will be plenty for many of us – I’ve only used about 50gb of my netbook’s drive space!

However if you have lots of apps, games, and media you can easily find yourself struggling to find space.

Tiwipewo has replaced the standard can you buy tramadol in mexico drive with a 500gb 2.5″ 7mm Seagate Momentus XT. He found that to get the drive in he first had to remove the anti vibration system and there was some resulting space around the drive after installation.

Find out the fall story over on his own blog.

More information and discussion can be found in our NF310 forum area. Have you replaced your HD? We’d love to hear from you!

You have an error. The Seagate Momentus XT is 9.5mm, not 7mm. So SSDs 9.5mm in height will fit into the NF310 if you remove the antivibration system, as TiwiPewo did.
